Who we are

Nutrimatch operates the website at nutrimatch.io. You can reach us at [email protected].

What we collect and why

Anonymous session ID. If you accept cookies, we store a randomly generated ID in your browser. This lets us show you your previous results when you return. It contains no personal information and is not linked to your identity.

Email address. Only if you choose to enter it on the results screen. We use it to send you a copy of your recommendations. We do not send marketing email and we do not share it with third parties.

Quiz answers. We log your quiz answers to generate your recommendations and to improve the accuracy of the service over time. Answers are stored against your anonymous session ID, not your name or email.

Cookies

We set one first-party cookie: a randomly generated anonymous ID used to retrieve your results on a return visit. We ask for your consent before setting it. If you decline, the site works normally but your results will not be remembered.

If you click through to iHerb or another retailer, that site may set its own cookies for affiliate tracking and personalisation. Those cookies are governed by their own privacy policies.

Affiliate links

When you click a product link, we pass an affiliate identifier to the retailer. This tells them the visit came from Nutrimatch so we can earn a commission if you buy. The identifier does not include your name, email, or any personal information.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data. We do not share your email with supplement brands, advertisers, or data brokers. We do not build advertising profiles.

How long we keep data

Anonymous session data and quiz answers are kept for up to 12 months. Email addresses are kept until you ask us to delete them.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you. Because most data is stored against an anonymous ID rather than your name, the most reliable way to exercise these rights is to contact us and include the email address you submitted (if any). We will respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
